    Single Malt

    Tullibardine Sovereign

Adorned with golden detailing, Tullibardine Sovereign is a delicious creamy single malt which was aged in first-fill bourbon barrels before bottling. Expect plenty of vanilla and spice from this Highland Dram.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Soft vanilla and cocoa butter on the nose. White chocolate, allspice and charred oak.

    Palate

A little mixed peel with notes of pear cider, allspice and creamy chocolate. A core of rich malt with hints of maple syrup.

    Finish

Spiced, creamy finish. Plenty of vanilla and cinnamon.

    Overall

A creamy whisky from some truly delicious casks!

Wonderful whisky, well worth the money.

Delicious, warm, relaxing, almist floral but definitely a hint of gentle spice.

    Good for what it is

Another good bottle from Tullibardine. Light in color, and probably could use another year or two in the barrel however this goes down nice and easy. Has the creamy edge I get in other Tullibardine whiskys. Flavors are light and sweet, reminds me of stroopwafel cookies and pancakes with maple syrup. Almost like a good Canadian whisky more than a single malt Scotch. Add a half star for value, at under $40 on my shelf this is a good buy. I got it to share with friends that are coming over so they won't finish my Lagavulin and Talisker.

Rich, biscuity goodness. Perfect midweek nightcap.

This is a wonderful whisky. Rich and smooth - much better in the mouth than on the nose. Toffee, caramel flavours from the bourbon cask maturation. Nice little edge. Dangerously drinkable.

    Needs improvement

    I don’t like it

Good but not my favorite in the price range

I just opened a bottle I had sitting for 3 years. Pleasant aroma with oak and hints of pear. Not the taste I hoped for when I tried it neat. Still a bit of a burn going down. A few drops of water and the aroma bumps up a notch and the taste is more pleasant but still not what I'm looking for. I think I'm more of a Islay guy.
