Released in 2013, this fabulous bottling from Tullibardine sees the rich, malty whisky finished for 12 months in top-quality 500-litre sherry butts. The result is something to behold.
Spiced, aromatic nose with notes of dark brown sugar and toffee apples.
Cooked fruit, cinnamon and manuka honey. Dates and hints of allspice.
Long, creamy finish with butterscotch and ground almonds.
A thick, creamy whisky with a spiced, chocolate-y edge.

I was excited to try this, but I ended up upset that I spent as much as I did on something so average and bland. For the price, you could get a much better whisky.
Behold a Santa popping into the chimney of your nose: Christmas wine spices and cinnamon. Chocolate dust, tiramisu, saddle leather. Been good? Here’s some tobacco and dried fruit onto your palate.
I really don't want to rate this very high because it's no-age-statement, chill-filtered, aka crap. But, fact of the matter is it's a well-balanced flavor profile, probably chocolate-covered-orange if anything, just the right amount of alcohol burn, and fresh enough not to be cloying. Probably better than lots of others I've had at double the price.
this whisky is creamy and smooth
Having treated myself to a bottle of this fine Malt while on holiday in Dornoch last week I forced myself to wait until i got home to try it. That wait was well worth it.I can honestly say it is one of the best malts i have tasted for some time. Cliff. (Abingdon,Oxon)
