Tullibardine
Scotland
Single Malt
Distilled at Tullibardine in the Highlands, this is a very tasty new whisky which was finished in a 225 litre cask (thus the name) which previously held maturing Sauternes dessert wine from Chateau Suduiraut. The result is a golden-coloured single malt with a deliciously creamy, fruity flavour.
Citrus peels and allspice. Notes of creamy vanilla, golden syrup, cocoa butter and black pepper.
Spiced palate entry with notes of candied orange and Seville marmalade. A little dried pineapple and white chocolate.
Medium finish with lingering sweet spices.
Superbly fruity whisky with a lovely influence from a dessert wine cask.
Mature, soft, and refined. Toffee with fruit and fruitcake hints. Gorgeous malt - complex with complexity, sweetness and no hint of anything crude or unpleasant. This bottle was genuine, bought in the UK and I will buy more.
Not for the beginner. Very complex with a multitude of rapidly changing flavours. First rate. Just a wee seam, so you don't waste it
A pure horror of a dram! I had high hopes based on so many great reviews here and elsewhere for this scotch. The product I received is abysmal! there is nothing good to write about this whisky which may vary from batch to batch. Instead of smoothness, this whisky is very rough, almost to the tune of a bootlegged alcohol. This is a $65 mistake.
tried it for the first time and it was very smooth
Getting through this bottle a bit too quick to be honest, really really nice flavours and not harsh At all neat. I have it over one cube of ice and it is unbelievably tasty. Picked it up on offer for £30 and have never had better value for money on an alcoholic drink.
