Tullibardine
Scotland
Single Malt
Distilled at Tullibardine in the Highlands, this is a very tasty new whisky which was finished in a 225 litre cask (thus the name) which previously held maturing Sauternes dessert wine from Chateau Suduiraut. The result is a golden-coloured single malt with a deliciously creamy, fruity flavour.
Citrus peels and allspice. Notes of creamy vanilla, golden syrup, cocoa butter and black pepper.
Spiced palate entry with notes of candied orange and Seville marmalade. A little dried pineapple and white chocolate.
Medium finish with lingering sweet spices.
Superbly fruity whisky with a lovely influence from a dessert wine cask.

Bought this on a whim and it's fastley becoming a favourite. The desert wine finish really enhances this whiskey. If you want to try something new, buy this.
As refreshing as a whisky can be. Lovely and sweet it is well complemented by a nice strong cheese. It has a youthful flavour with its citrus undertones. Maybe not for Talisker or Laphraoig fans, but a nice go to on a Sunday evening.
Unfortunately the bottle I have is very harsh, not even as good as a blended whisky. Going by the reviews below some people who are very experienced with whisky have had good bottles, some not so good. Hopefully the distillery can get the quality sorted out so that every bottle is good. I certainly would not pay £40 for one but if you come across a bottle cheaper say £25 it might be worth a punt in case you get a good one
The very best Malt I have ever tasted in a lifetime.
Very smooth sweet vanilla finish. Utterly beautiful.
