A marvellous cask strength single malt from Tullibardine, released as part of its limited The Murray series. Distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2021, this expression spent its time in first-fill American oak casks, imparting plenty of creamy toffee notes to the velvety malt.
A hint of orchard blossom, creamy vanilla, custard tart, a touch of lemon.
More citrus zest and buttery pastry, butterscotch and popcorn, with a prickle of peppercorn creeping.
Oak spice and citrus continue with zesty malt and creamy caramel lingering.
