A single cask bourbon-matured Highlander here. After it was distilled in 2007, this Tullibardine single malt spent its 13 years of ageing in a bourbon cask. Eventually, House of Macduff bottled the whisky for its Golden Cask series, with an outturn of 219 bottles at a generous 59.3% ABV.
Toasted malt, golden syrup, and white chocolate.
Waxy citrus and set honey, along with a zing of orchard fruit.
A chocolatey finish of Maltesar and baking spice.
