Distilled in 2010, this 12-year-old single malt from Tullibardine spent its first nine years in a refill bourbon barrel before being transferred to a second fill bourbon barrel that previously held single malt from Longmorn. This casking wizardry was carried out by the folks at A.D Rattray, independently releasing a total of 174 cask strength bottles for its Cask Collection in 2023.
Juicy pear and crisp apple lead to zesty citrus peels and a touch of cereal, with grassy malt in the distance.
More crisp orchard fruit joins vibrant notes of honeyed fruit salad, with earthy notes of roasted nuts beneath.
A touch of pink grapefruit, apple pastries, and oaken vanilla.
