Single Malt
Scotland

A rather well-matured Tormore single malt here from indie bottler Chorlton Whisky, aged in a single hogshead for 28 years. It was bottled up at 42.4% ABV with an outturn of 253 bottles. As ever from Chorlton Whisky, the label features some fancy artwork - this time it looks to be a cooking scene, with what looks to be a big pile of flour, or rice maybe? Whatever it is, there's a dog under the table enjoying a meal too, and we like that detail.
Loads of fresh fruit notes here – pears, damsons, pineapples!
A slow build of earthy, woody, subtly spice notes, alongside the powerful fruity elements.
Lasting orange oil and grassy barley.
