From Gordon & MacPhail's terrific Cask Strength range comes this 14 year old Tormore single malt Scotch whisky, matured in refill bourbon barrels. It was distilled in August 1999 (presumably while we were all partying like it was the year it actually was) and left to age until January 2014 and bottled at an intense 58% ABV. Tormore is not only known for their tasty whisky, buy also for their beautiful distillery, which has been reproduced in scale model form at the Scotch Whisky Heritage Centre in Edinburgh.
