Tomintoul With A Peaty Tang 1l
A one litre bottle of Tomintoul's peated single malt whisky that utilises the batch of heavily peated (55ppm) spirit the distillery produces each year.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Full and pungent. There are notes of heather roots and wood smoke. A dark peat with notes of copper and pine oils with a touch of gentle sweetness from the barley malt.
Palate
Quite rich and powerful. There are notes of toasted oak with notes of pepper and the smoke thereof. Notes of toasty cereals and supple peat. A wistful ash note builds.
Finish
Long and hot with pepper and a leafy green note.
