14 year old single malt from Tomintoul, matured in a sherry butt from August 2005 to January 2020. It was bottled up at cask strength with an outturn of 694 bottles. Though Tomintoul's tagline is "The Gentle Dram", at 61.9% ABV, it still could use a drop or two of water to help mellow it out and unlock some of the fruity, vanilla-rich notes.
whaaw, so used to the " gentle dram" This is gentle but with the 61,9 % alchohol it is most probably the best Tomintoul that I have tasted
