This 20 year old Tomintoul was placed in a specially coopered 50 litre Oloroso Sherry cask for the final few months (at least six of 'em) of its maturation for greater intensity.
Raisins, oak and sugared almonds soon move into sultanas, orange peel and honey with some more tropical, herbal elements beneath the surface.
