Released in August 2009, Tomintoul 33 Year Old was named Best Speyside Single Malt at Whisky Magazine's World Whiskies Awards the following year. A fine replacement for the 27 year old that was launched five years earlier.
Whenever my daughter travels to Scotland she brings me samples of various scotches. She recently brought me a sample of the 33 year old Tomintoul and it was the smoothest scotch that I've had the pleasure of tasting.
