    Single Malt

    Tomintoul 14 Year Old

This 14 year old has been bottled at a higher strength to previous Tomintoul releases. This has helped bring out more of the flavour, and the character of the dram.

This is an incredibly easy one to drink - Fresh, Honey, vanilla, melon notes, creamy sweet, balanced by lightness of their very fine spirit. Really nice mouthwatering mouthfeel. I bought a second one so I can feel ok finishing the first. An excellent dram for peatheads looking for a light whisky on their breaks. Hope they keep making this and are able to maintain the quality. I can see myself coming back to this one again and again.

This was everything I hoped it would be. I had feared it would be a little too thin but no fear. toffee, honey nose and lovely creamy notes when tasted. This pale spirit is my bag and for the price I find it difficult to beat

    Wonderful whisky.

Totally different to the other Tomintoul expressions. The craft presentation really helps. The nose shows strong spirit, cream, apply juice and butter. The palate is just beautiful, lemon oil, lemon rind, sherbet and creaminess. I can't recommend this one enough. Far better than all other Tomintoul bottlings.

Excellent value for money with this one really smooth an easy one to drink if your just getting used to whisky and nice delicate flavor for those who are more experienced, though some may say a little on the thin side.
