The first ever port-finished Tomintoul, this was aged for 12 years and the result is creamy, fruity and eminently quaffable.
Fruity and floral with notes of sweet cream soda, strawberry jam, granary toast and juicy barley.
Fruity and malty with creamy notes, jam, manuka honey and grenadine.
Good length with light fruit, perfumy notes and cereals.
$35.14 - $127.02
Very smooth and very sweet. Some strong honey flavours and has a slightly creamy, viscous feel to it. Not half bad.
It was fruity and sweet. Something that did not make to enjoy it.
It was nice and the taste was ok.
tried the 16 year old at a whisky tasting event and loved it , went to buy my first bottle and were sold out , this one was recommended and boy o boy what a recommendation an absolutely beautiful malt
Absolutely beautiful dram, I am quite new at drinking whisky, I used to drink Glenmorangie a lot but after doing distillery tours in Scotland tasting many different whisky this came out as my favorite of all so far. Another gentle dram from Tomintoul with lots of fruity taste.
