“For a whiskey that is ageless in label this really is something sublime, I only bought it out of impulse mainly due to the price it was offered at and the stunning box catching my eye and I have to say what a buy at £20.00, its very drinkable with a deep woody flavour and the bourbon cask with a treacly texture afterwards, it does have a pine like essence on the nose but such a delicious colour not too far off butterscotch. Love the warming aftertones and how it sticks to the glass. Definitely one of the best low price nips to be had. Superb, ”

Tomatin Legacy

Tomatin distillery's new no-age-statement release uses virgin oak as well as bourbon casks. It provides a new entry level to the Tomatin range but the use of different casks make this a unique expression.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Lemon, panatella and pine forest. Slightly green with vanilla.

Palate

Cracked pepper and sweet barley with pineapple cube sweets. Waves of warming oak beneath.

Finish

Sweet but peppered.

Overall

A clean and certainly affordable single malt whisky.
