Single Malt
Scotland
1 Jan 2006
From Tomatin's Cù Bòcan range comes another smoky beast. This is a 2006 vintage single malt, distilled using peated barley (not a common thing for Tomatin - they only distil peated barley for two weeks each year!) and aged in a combination of Sherry and bourbon casks. It also comes with a handy branded glass for enjoying the whisky from.
Flamed orange peel, oatcakes and bread 'n' butter pudding.
BBQ embers (and a hint of smoked meat to go with it), followed by honey and stick Oloroso.
Quite long and richly smoky.

A nice drop especially with a chocolate stout from Worcester.
