Nine-year-old single malt from Tomatin, independently bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. for The Cooper's Choice collection. Distilled in 2013, the whisky finished its maturation in a sauternes wine cask, yielding a total of 330 bottles when it was opened in 2023.
Biscuity malt and gingerbread join juicy barley and oaken vanilla, with honeyed stone fruit and candied tropical fruit in tow.
Butterscotch, banana bread, creamy vanilla, and sweet prunes, with a touch of marmalade bringing some zest.
Drying oak wraps things up, with sweet barley and dried fruit lingering.
