This is a 9 Year Old Highland single malt Scotch whisky, which was distilled by Tomatin in 2007 and matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, #4920, #4921 & #4922. An absolutely beauty of a dram, it was specially selected, produced and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in 2017 without chill filtration or additional colouring at 58.5% ABV for the Cask Strength series.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

A zesty citrus blend of lemon and grapefruits is tempered by an aroma of pine forest and a fresh, floral bloom.

Palate

Sweet barley carries a little subtle smoke, caramel and crushed walnuts. A note of vanilla complements the warming oak and pepper spice.

Finish

Medium length and brimming with orange and creamy malt.
