Cut Your Wolf Loose's 9th independent whisky bottling is a cask strength, single cask Tomatin aged for seven years in a refill hogshead barrel and bottled at 59.4%. Only 262 bottles were released, with artwork from Skeleton Cardboard.
Grassy and sweet, as if you watered your lawn with Mead for sh#ts and gigs. Theres a lovely summery freshness about it, so much so, that you could whack it in a cologne bottle and spritz yourself.
Lemons and funky IPA-style fruity note - Think mangos and bananas. Ex-bourbon sweetness is then gently tucked into bed by a surprising smokey curveball!
Finish is long and lingering like an unsuspecting digit in a Chinese finger trap. Little bit earthy and more of those tropical IPA hoppy notes.
