A 1989 vintage Tomatin single malt, aged in a single refill American hogshead for 29 years. In September 2018, this Highland whisky was bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for the Connoisseurs Choice range, producing 183 bottles.

Nose

Pear tarte tatin, gingerbread and gooseberries.

Palate

Chocolatey notes arrive on the palate, followed by sharp green apple, buttery pastry and white pepper.

Finish

Slightly grassy on the finish, though still packed with orchard fruit sweetness.
