Tomatin 2007 (bottled 2018) - Discovery (Gordon & MacPhail)
A 2007 vintage single malt from the Tomatin distillery, independently bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for the Discovery series in 2018. Each of the whiskies in the Discovery range is placed into one of three broad flavour categories, including 'Sherry', 'Smoky' and 'Bourbon', allowing you to pick out whiskies with an idea of their flavour profile. This one sits in the 'Bourbon' category.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fresh apple and banana, mixed with hints of cedar.
Palate
Spicy vanilla and white pepper, tempered by marmalade on toast.
Finish
A whiff of oak continued, with an almost floral touch to it.
