A 44 year old single cask release distilled in 1971 and matured in a Spanish ex-Oloroso Sherry cask. The first in Tomatin's luxury Warehouse 6 Collection 252 bottles are available.
The stunning whisky comes in a crystal decanter bottle with a presentation plinth and two crystal tumblers all within a handsome box.
Aromas of almond, plum, ginger cake and marzipan merged with warm flavours of caramel, dark chocolate, coffee and winter fruits before a rich, refined, lingering finish.
