The Portuguese Collection from Tomatin sees 15-year-old single malt Scotch whisky treated to a range Portuguese wine cask finishes. Distilled in 2006, this Highlander spent seven of its 15 year maturation period in Moscatel casks, for rich flavours of sticky citrus, spice, and chocolate.
Treacle toffee, sweet orange peel, and oaky vanilla.
Chewy dates and candied orange peel, with twists of black pepper, and cinnamon.
Sticky fruitcake, with drizzles of caramel.
