Sherry

Chosen by Nigel the Capercaillie (don’t ask), this 2nd fill sherry hoggie of 2014 Tomatin is bottled at a comfortable 53% – Nigel’s sweet spot, apparently. A bold, fruity Highlander with cheeky sherry oomph and proud avian approval.
Raisins, cinnamon toast, toffee apples, and a puff of malt dust.
Big orchard fruit energy – think baked apples and pears – with chewy malt, nutmeg, and hints of toasted oak.
Medium-long, drying slightly with red fruit and chocolate digestives.
