An 42 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Tobermory! An extraordinarily well-aged whisky from the distillery on the Isle of Mull, which even contains some of the first spirit produced when the distillery was reopened in 1972! A release of only 650 bottles.
Massive waves of dark chocolate, tobacco, Sherry-soaked raisins and roasted chestnuts. A touch of liquorice root.
More roasted chestnut, now with notes of oily walnut and dry oak. Cherry, redcurrant, thick treacle and a touch of cracked black pepper.
Dry spices last ages on the finish, with chocolate-covered raisins bringing a balancing sweetness.

no review on this one yet lol....I think they accidentally added an extra number to that price
Had the pleasure of tasting this malt whisky at Tobermory. It was truly sublime and amongst the best whisky I have ever sampled!
