Bourbon
An independently bottled Tobermory single malt Scotch whisky, presented as part of the Hannah Whisky Merchant's Lady of the Glen range. It was distilled back in July 1995 and left to age in a bourbon hogshead for 20 years before the cask was opened and the whisky bottled at natural cask strength. 259 bottles were produced.
Warming notes of dried fruit and vanilla cream.
Grows spicier on the palate with diced red chilli, though retains a light, almost sugary sweetness.
A surprising coastal waft comes along after a short while.
