This Ledaig is over a quarter of a century old! It was distilled at Tobermory all the way back on 5 March 1993. It then spent 26 long years maturing in a single cask, before it was bottled by The Single Cask on 13 March 2019, just eight days after its 26th birthday. Only a super limited 46 bottles of this single malt were released, weighing in at 43.5% ABV.
Meat peat smoke blends well with toasty oak and a hint of charred peach.
Herbaceous on the palate with basil and pepper, followed by cinder toffee and salty sea air.
Lingering cinnamon heat and a touch of green apple.
