Bourbon
A smoky Ledaig single malt from Tobermory here! Distilled in March 2007, the whisky called a single first-fill bourbon hogshead home for the next 13 years, until Heroes & Heretics bottled it in August 2020. The cask yielded 276 bottles at 53% ABV for the aptly-named Smoke & Glory series.
Seaside smoke, teriyaki sauce and barbecued meat.
Toasted oak, burnt brown sugar and a waxy lemon note.
A smouldering, smoky finish.
