The Timorous Beastie has grown up! This right here is a limited edition variant on Douglas Laing's Timorous Beastie blended malt (made exclusively with Highland whiskies), now made with whiskies aged for at least 18 years before bottling!
Richly honey'd, with a touch of grilled apricot underneath.
Packed with barley and vanilla, joined by a crackle of black pepper and cinnamon.
Spices linger, as does chocolate ice-cream.

This is a fabulous malt with a huge amount of complexity and interest. A great balance of sweetness and spice. Hugely recommend.
Delightfully smooth and creamy treat
A really find Highland Single Malt. Refined with lots of sweet, nutty depth and a rounded sweet spiciness.
A treasure! And definitely older than 18 years of age, which comes through if you let the bottle breathe for a few months. Delicious, with a lot of aromas and flavor.
After 4 months (and one fourth of the bottle drunk in my case) it softens up *considerably* and turns entirely into a GLENGOYNE. Which I must say was wonderful. - sweet nectar. This has been a Public Whisky Announcement.
