A glorious single grain Scotch, matured for a generous 20 years, and bottled up by Three Scottish Brothers. We don't know the story of the brothers, but they appear to have a talent for bottling up superbly well-aged whisky, at a rather favourable price.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Toasted oats, flaked coconut, vanilla pod, and buttery fudge.
Palate
Gentle oak, more vanilla, and brittle toffee. Oily grain follows with a touch of marzipan and peppery heat.
Finish
Things remain creamy, with butterscotch, a touch of menthol, and cracked peppercorns.
