This is the second edition of Mystery Malt from the ever-playful Thompson Bros., and as ever, it keeps its secrets close. This unique single malt Scotch whisky comes housed in black glass, the contents hidden from sight, only to be revealed when you remove the lid! Beneath a discreet sticker on the cork, curious whisky fans can discover the origin, distillery, and age of the whisky within. Until then, it remains a mystery!

This is the second of a series. Each release is a spread of casks drawn from a wide range of distilleries – from young mavericks like Lochlea and Dornoch to heavy-hitting veterans like Clynelish, Caol Ila, and Inchgower. Some are barely out of their nappies at four years old, others are esteemed malts at 29 – but all are bottled at 48.5% and selected for balance, flavour, and sheer surprise.
