Rare Aldunie whisky (the name for teaspooned Kininvie single malt) steps into the spotlight thanks to Thompson Bros. This 27-year-old blended malt was aged in two refill barrels filled in 1998 and bottled at 52.5% ABV, left non chill filtered and natural in colour for full wax-rich glory.
Waxed pears, gooseberries, melon and lime, with florals, fennel and pencil shavings.
Lemon zest, chamomile, cardamom, white stone fruit and green peppercorns with apricot. Water brings honeydew and blue raspberry.
Ginger warmth, lime pickle and herbal teas with soft wax.
