    The Sassenach Blended Scotch Whisky

The Sassenach is the first whisky launched by Sam Heughan (who you may know as the actor who plays Jamie Fraser on hit sci-fi TV show Outlander), inspired by picturesque Highland landscapes. Expect waves of butterscotch, fresh citrus and warming spices from this tasty blended Scotch whisky.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Fabulous

I am not a whisky drinker to be honest, bought it because of a man called Sam... boy am I glad I did, I removed the stopper and had a tentative sniff.... wow, the smell was fabulous, so the taste, blew me away absolutely delicious, will definitely buy more.

    Well done Sam, nice dram

Splurged on a bottle of this stuff this week. Is it worthy of the £75 price tag to pay for a celeb blended? The answer is yes. I'm a massive lover of whisky, Outlander, Jamie, Sam and everything in between. Usually prefer smoky so this is a departure for my palette, but a nice one. My nose hasn't quite recovered from the post Covid loss so cant comment on that but the taste is smooth golden, Worthers original toffee. Sam didn't show himself up with this ( like Haig club did with Beckham) and proved he clearly knows about whisky. I would recommend. It also comes in the most beautiful bottle. This is for special occasions only.

It will spoil you, just like Sam.

Very smooth and then a warm finish in the back of the mouth. Lovely nose. Pairs well with a nutty flavored cheese, nuts, and yes, dried apricots.

Cheaper Whiskeys taste better than this one.

It being 46% makes it undrinkable on its own. To strong, to expensive.
