The Sassenach is the first whisky launched by Sam Heughan (who you may know as the actor who plays Jamie Fraser on hit sci-fi TV show Outlander), inspired by picturesque Highland landscapes. Expect waves of butterscotch, fresh citrus and warming spices from this tasty blended Scotch whisky.
Fresh apricot and orange, with a drizzle of caramel and a slow build of cinnamon.
Waves of honey and vanilla fudge, dotted with raisin, almond and another helping of cinnamon spiciness.
Lasting nutmeg, citrus oils and toffee.
Pleasant enough whisky but many other equally good blends and much cheaper available.
Not a Scotch drinker before, but tried this and I love it. Smooth to the last drop. Have bought several (key word) bottles since my first bottle and will happily buy more. Slàinte ?
Very smooth...nice citrus taste. Goes down enjoyably well.

I waited 2 years to be gifted with this! (I’m a lover of Sam Heughan) Finally bought it for myself. Wasn’t disappointed. It’s oaky and smooth. Really hits the spot. My favourite was always Laphroaig…it’s not that any more. The Sassenach is really special ?
