The Sassenach is the first whisky launched by Sam Heughan (who you may know as the actor who plays Jamie Fraser on hit sci-fi TV show Outlander), inspired by picturesque Highland landscapes. Expect waves of butterscotch, fresh citrus and warming spices from this tasty blended Scotch whisky.
Fresh apricot and orange, with a drizzle of caramel and a slow build of cinnamon.
Waves of honey and vanilla fudge, dotted with raisin, almond and another helping of cinnamon spiciness.
Lasting nutmeg, citrus oils and toffee.
Never liked scotch whisky before, but after buying a bottle of this I’m a new fan! It’s a bit expensive but the taste was delicious and smooth and unlike anything I’ve tasted before. Can not wait until we can get it again in the states!?
What an amazing nectar is this! I thought I had tried the best ones till I tumbled into this one, no wonder this whisky scooped top prizes. This whisky is very smooth, it embraces my palate with its butterscotch honey drops, tantalising every taste buds on my tongue and the aftertaste was fantastic! I have been collecting whiskies for years and I can assure that this is one of the best!

I can go along with the description given after my first glass, only nutmeg I have not been able to recognize. Overall, a round taste experience. Could become one of my favorites.
