The Sassenach is the first whisky launched by Sam Heughan (who you may know as the actor who plays Jamie Fraser on hit sci-fi TV show Outlander), inspired by picturesque Highland landscapes. Expect waves of butterscotch, fresh citrus and warming spices from this tasty blended Scotch whisky.
Fresh apricot and orange, with a drizzle of caramel and a slow build of cinnamon.
Waves of honey and vanilla fudge, dotted with raisin, almond and another helping of cinnamon spiciness.
Lasting nutmeg, citrus oils and toffee.
I was so excited to receive the Sassenach and it did not disappoint. It’s like no other whisky I’ve had before, there is an explosion of flavour as you first taste it and then it is so smooth and silky on the palate.
Perfect , just perfect ! Amazing taste and beautiful bottle !
