The Sassenach is the first whisky launched by Sam Heughan (who you may know as the actor who plays Jamie Fraser on hit sci-fi TV show Outlander), inspired by picturesque Highland landscapes. Expect waves of butterscotch, fresh citrus and warming spices from this tasty blended Scotch whisky.
Fresh apricot and orange, with a drizzle of caramel and a slow build of cinnamon.
Waves of honey and vanilla fudge, dotted with raisin, almond and another helping of cinnamon spiciness.
Lasting nutmeg, citrus oils and toffee.
I was finally able to sample it last fall. I really don’t like whisky, but this was very good. Very smooth going down without the burn of other whiskies. Can’t wait to get my own bottle eventually.

I wasn’t a Scotch drinker but Sassenach has converted me. A bit of a bite and delicious flavors.
Very smooth and very tasty. Intense layered flavor. It is a total treat. Has become my favorite whisky quickly. It is worth the time and work required to get hold of a bottle (which btw is very stylish and beautiful).
I love it and I am sooooooooo glad I got mine before the shipping issue. I may need another bottle soon so I hope things get worked out.
