The Sassenach is the first whisky launched by Sam Heughan (who you may know as the actor who plays Jamie Fraser on hit sci-fi TV show Outlander), inspired by picturesque Highland landscapes. Expect waves of butterscotch, fresh citrus and warming spices from this tasty blended Scotch whisky.
Fresh apricot and orange, with a drizzle of caramel and a slow build of cinnamon.
Waves of honey and vanilla fudge, dotted with raisin, almond and another helping of cinnamon spiciness.
Lasting nutmeg, citrus oils and toffee.

After reading the tasting notes and reviews, I thought I’ve got to try this! I was hoping this whisky was going to be as good as they said (and be worth the price) and boy was it! It’s reminiscent of rum and raisin ice cream which is divine! Smooth, soft, warm, creamy, rich - just delicious! It has the right amount of everything to make this such an enjoyable dram. I’ve tried other blended whiskeys before but I have to say this is the best one I’ve ever had! To sum up this stunning whisky in a single quote it would be this: “Ye Werena The First Lass I Kissed, (…) But I Swear You'll Be The Last.”
