
The Orientalist Dragon 12 Year Old is made from spirits distilled in Japan, Taiwan and India. After 12 years of maturation, the whisky is given a finishing period in oloroso sherry casks to impart extra richness and depth.
Vanilla and honeyed cereal to start, joined by orchard fruit and a gentle floral note. Rich dried dates, figs and a touch of raisin develop, underpinned by a wisp of nutmeg.
Juicy red fruits—cherry, plum and redcurrant—are lifted by silky layers of caramel, milk chocolate and roasted almond. A hint of leather and subtle oak spice provide balance.
Long and warming, with dark chocolate, dried fruit sweetness and a final echo of sherried richness.
