Say hello to the 2020 release of The Macallan Rare Cask! The Rare Cask series from the legendary distillery in Speyside features whisky drawn from hand-selected European sherry seasoned oak butts, showing off the fantastically rich and complex flavour profile we know and love from Macallan.
Soft notes of opulent vanilla and raisin pique the nose, giving way to a sweet ensemble of apple, lemon and orange.
Oak resonates, timeless, polished and rich. Vanilla and chocolate lead the finale along with a light citrus zest.
Full and warming.

I love it, but it is a bit pricy. I mostly love the sweet fruity taste balanced with the oak cask flavor. It is also very smooth making the flavor melt in your mouth.
Superb lovely to the last drop might have to treat myself to another bottle !
