Astonishing whisky and mesmerising design come together in The Macallan Horizon, the first product born of the distillery's partnership with Bentley Motors. The Macallan master whisky maker Kirsteen Campbell selected six first-fill sherry seasoned oak casks for this expression, showcasing The Macallan's signature rich fruit and spice alongside bold aromas of oak and leather that are often abundant in Bentley's world. Defying the tradition of vertical whisky bottles, this horizontal vessel takes its inspiration from the automotive world with a nod to the timeless quality of the past, and the innovation of the future.
Please note: this bottle is stored under lock and key, protected by chains and lasers, so we'll need a few extra days to crack it out of our vault and ship to you.
Resinous polished oak with plums and dark cherries, alongside aromatic fresh leather and a herbal, leafy note. An abundance of dried fruits follow - sticky dates, raisins and sultanas leading on to sweet cinnamon, nutmeg with a hint of cloves.?
Wonderfully rich and indulgent. Dark treacle notes with cinder toffee, crystalised ginger and charred pineapple. Sweet vanilla pods and fudge develop, followed by dark chocolate coated Brazil nuts and a warming oak spice.?
Rich oak, long, complex.
