Simply the best whisky out there! I'm not a whisky drinker but my boss bought me a bottle as a thank you for all the work I had put in. After one taste of it I'm a reformed character the vodka is now second to macallan 10 !
This bottle made me realize that I don't care for the more heavily sherried ones. Appeals much more to my senses. Also I don't feel that the older stuff is more desirable. This I will replace when finished. Great stuff and I had been drinking the Nadurra previously which I like more, however I am comparing them right now and while I love them both, I do find the Macallan 10 FO to be more approachable in a way.
my new favorite from macallan after having the 12 year and the directors edition. not as smooth as the directors but lighter on the sherry which allows the other flavors to come thru better. nice for a change from my usual peat monster islays.
I am usually only a fan of Islay scotch and so I was hesitant when given this bottle as a gift. But I am certainly surprised how much I like this dram. It has the usual Macallan nutty oil flavor. This stuff is so smooth!
Dissapointing Macallan used to be Number 1. Now its only a "Premium NAS Brand"
