In the late 1990s/early 2000s, Macallan released a series of Travel Retail bottlings based around creating whiskies to reflect flavour profiles from past decades. This particular expression was made to taste similar to Macallan whiskies from the 1950s!

Dry oloroso, chestnuts, chocolate orange and hazelnut.
Another touch of orange oil and ground ginger.
