A bright and funky limited edition bottling of The Macallan, Concept No.1 is the first in the series released for the Travel Retail market, inspired by surreal art. The single malt is crafted from whiskies matured for equal time in both sherry oak and bourbon casks, with the series aiming to imaginatively explore the many choices of maturation. The packaging is sure to provide some surreal food for thought while you sip this intriguing dram.

Sweet butterscotch toffee, with almond, ginger spice and cinnamon. Hints of dried fruit, citrus and green banana.
Sweet orange and lemon citrus with soft oak spices, fresh fruit and ginger.
Medium sweet, dry with a lingering oak, citrus fruit and ginger finish.

Struggled to find this but glad I did, what a great experiment it is!
It’s a really great Macallan with a difference!
The flavour grows and grows with citrus on the nose. The ginger is nice and adds a bit of spice.
