The Macallan Classic Cut 2017 was the inaugural release in a new series of exciting annual limited editions, each of which cast a unique take on the distillery's classic character. The 2017 edition showcases a single malt matured solely in hand-picked American and European oak oloroso sherry barrels from Jerez, Spain. It was bottled at 58.4% ABV, with 90,000 bottles released. Handsome bottles they are, too.

Creamy vanilla custard, sweet ginger and fresh sweet oak.
Caramel, hints of orange zest and a warming nutmeg spice.
Satisfyingly long, with a warming oak and a sweet mouth coating.
