A stunning release from independent bottler Duncan Taylor, marking the beginning of The Rarest Reserve Collection. This single malt was distilled at Macallan in 1969 and initially matured in American oak bourbon barrels before it was transferred to first-fill oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at 52 years old, and released in 2024, it's the oldest Macallan release to date from Duncan Taylor and coincides with The Macallan's 200th anniversary. The delightful little bottle contains 100ml of single malt and comes housed in a smart display tin that resembles a gold bar.
