The Macallan 50 Year Old - The Red Collection 2020 Release
An exceptional 50-year-old single malt from Macallan, left to mature for half a century in sherry-seasoned European oak. A jaw-dropping release from the distillery's Red Collection! The presentation box is even made from the same sustainably-sourced European oak used to make the casks, which is pretty awesome.
Please note: this bottle is stored under lock and key, protected by chains and lasers, so we'll need a few extra days to crack it out of our vault and ship to you.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Antique oak and soft leather, light floral notes, rich cocoa and black cherry and ginger.
Palate
Warming combination dried fruits and wood spices moving into dates and dark chocolate, orange oil and hints of sultanas.
Finish
Rich and complex with slight effervescent feel, with a long lasting finish of raisins, dates and crème brûlée.
