Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Antique furniture and rich, leathery tannins are followed by thick manuka honey, a hint of rooibos tea, and dried citrus peels. Stewed apples and pears, blanketed in buttery pastry, with chocolate raisins and distant chalk in tow.
Palate
Redcurrant jelly and pressed blackcurrants pave the way, joined by chocolate-dipped dried orange. Nutty malt follows, with earthy pecan, green walnuts, and a slow build of woody liquorice.
Finish
Dried cranberries, poached plums, and floral goji berries linger alongside dense oak and softly charred herbs.
