The 12 year old expression from The Macallan Fine Oak Range, matured in a selection of American and European oak casks seasoned with sherry, as well as American oak casks seasoned with bourbon.

Nectarines, sugared almonds and vanilla toffee. Spicy oak and golden malt lend a good balance to the sweet opening notes.
Good sherried malt in here, rich and sweet with plump raisins. Developing orange peel notes. Warm oak at the core.
Quite long with vanilla and sultana.

There are much nicer Speysides out there for half the price , in fact glen grants 10yr old @30 quid a bottle leaves this dead in the water.
